In 2015, more than 10,000 people came through the doors of his events and, as he puts it, “Not a single one was normal – whatever ‘normal’ is”.

 

He runs the world’s largest Steampunk event, The Steampunk World’s Fair; the world’s largest indoor Renaissance Faire, The Wicked Faire; and The Geeky Kink Event, an adult event which was predicted to have “an attendance of six people playing Pokemon”, and has become one of the biggest kink events in the United States. Though, to be fair, they DO play a lot of Pokemon.

 

Jeff joins the project as Head of Messaging. His role is to spread the SYNEMATIKA word through the like-minded-planetary-tribe-o-sphere – that we all might be one epic collective-creative-action-of-yes-motherfck less alone.

Over the last year of SYNEMATIKA development and test shooting, Liz LaManche has proven herself that exact kind of alchemical creative force one looks for. As 21st Century Arrt Macgyver, she has constructed DIY camera dollies, fabricated wardrobe pieces, constructed props and provided extraordinary logistical support and solutions whenever needed.

 

For the purposes of this introduction, Liz LaManche is working as Web Technologist and Designer, putting together a suite of sites that will be both our public face on the Interwebs and our secret meeting place for building and sharing the awesomeness as this thing grows.

 

You may have heard of Liz as the artistic powerhouse who made “Connected By Sea,” the 1000-foot permanent tattoo design on an industrial pier in East Boston, the “Stairs of Fabulousness” in Boston City Hall, and the tattoo designs covering 2 city blocks of pedestrian walkways in downtown Salem last season… she tends to keep busy.

SYNEMATIKA already has some amazing parts in action starting wif the celestializing Mx. BriAnna Olson as Executive Producer.

 

BriAnna & I have worked together for over a decade on countless projects in numerous iterations and she has been an integral voice in the evolution of all things SYNEMATIKA – This, since it’s fever-induced inspiration lo those manyyearsago.

 

She produced the majority of my “Dresden Dolls” music videos as well as the “Who Killed Amanda Palmer Surrealist Mini-Mystery” music video series, my work for Ben Folds and Gene Dante and The Future Starlets as well as my video art project: Living Images.

 

She’s gone on to become a music video director and video artist in her own right creating videos for Christopher Barnes, Gem Club, Slow Meadow, Kim Boekbinder and internationally renowned poet Warsan Shire (Young Poet Laureate for London).

 

She lives in New York and works at The David Lynch Foundation.

Because while there is a lot of extra content, concepts and collective creative adventures to be had from it all – HOW one discovers that stuff is as important to the nature of SYNEMATIKA as the Feature Film itself.

 

Currently I’m putting the final touches on the first of many crowdfunding campaigns for all of this. In the interim and beyond, you can keep a finger to the pulse of the project here. Various iterations of us will be posting info and stuff and opportunities and calls to action and things related etc.

 

This is going to be some Booty-Shaking, Law-Breaking, Creative Magic-Making of Yes Motherfck happening, people. Suffice to say, I’m off-the-fcking-hook-excited.
